It’s not that I was distracted or procrastinating. I truly believed that achieving a goal had to be hard for it to really matter…for it to really count.
Yes, I’ll admit it. I was hooked on achieving the practically impossible with the most complexity and effort possible.
Let’s face it, as women business owners, I believe we are notorious for making things a lot harder and more complicated than they really need to be.
Wouldn’t you agree?
Well, since starting my business, I’ve learned that it does not have to be that way.
While growing your own business is a lot of work, it does not have to be complicated, hard or painful.
Let’s say that you really wanted to create massive results in your business and your bank account between now and the end of the year…you really want to hit it out of the park in this year….what could you do?
Actually, let me rephrase that question…what could you do that was quick and easy to create maximum impact this year?
Let me share three tips with you, so you can create massive results for you and your business before the end of this year.
1. Contact Current and Past Clients
Contact your current and past clients and see how you can help them achieve their goals prior to year end.
As business owners, we spend a lot of time trying to find new clients; however in doing so, we often leave money on the table. Research shows that it costs 8-10 times more to get a new client than it does to keep a client you already have.
So, pick up the phone and reach out to your current and past clients and see how you can help them.
2. Re-Purpose Your Gems
You have undoubtedly created a lot of content since you started your business (articles, videos, audios, teleseminar recordings, tele classes, webinars, blog posts, etc.). Chances are this content is still very relevant.
Why not have someone create an ebook with all of your blog posts, or why not have one of your videos or teleseminars transcribed, create a worksheet to go with it and in no time at all you’ll have a new product to sell to your list.
Many entrepreneurs I work with feel that they need to continually come up with new content. While new content is important, chances are, there is so much content that you have already produced… quality content.
You or someone on your team can easily reformat/re purpose and use these content gems to create new programs and products, resulting in a quick cash injection into your business.
3. Get New Clients Through “All-in-One” Marketing Strategies
There is definitely still time for you to get new clients this year. So what is the best way to do that? Utilizing what I have coined as “All-in-One” Marketing Strategies.
“All-in-One” Marketing Strategies enable you to reach multiple goals with the least amount of effort, time and energy.
Let’s say in addition to getting new paying clients, you were looking to increase your authority and visibility, then I would highly encourage you to employ an “All-in-One” Marketing Strategy such as sponsoring an event or speaking (live or virtually) rather than marketing one to one.
Another really great “All-in-One” Marketing Strategy is to ask your current and past clients for referrals. This not only puts you at the forefront of your current and past clients’ minds, but also positions you as an authority and THE recommended expert, resource and/or service provider in the eyes of your potential new client.
With only a little over three months left this year, it’s time for you to stop the insanity. Resist the temptation to over complicate things. Pick one of these strategies and get started today.
